It had been discussed with other comrades in the past, to set up reading groups in the Forum. I think this could be a great idea ("socializing" our reading rather than being isolated in different parts of the world).

This being a general proposition, I would like to know if there are people willing to read major economic works written by Marxists and then put up summaries and debate what has been read with the light of the present situation.

I would be interested in reading in priority the Capital and The Accumulation of Capital and An anti-critique by Rosa Luxembourg. The choice of what is read first could be decided by comrades participating.

Also note that other projects for Capital exist but only in English as far as I have seen :

    - Online reading group of Capital Volume I on Libcom. I propose to follow the same idea : we post a "sticky" thread (always remaining on top of the Economics forum) and present a thread for every chapter

    - ReadingCapital.org : a website with articles, blogs, forum (not very active last time I checked)... and with online lectures of David Harvey on Capital Volume I

    - Reading Capital with David Harvey : these lectures could be interesting

    Who is up to this?
