The Counihan-Sanchez Family campaign has a demonstration and rally in Kilburn on 6th October.I hope any comrades in London will feel ableto come join and support us.

Our struggle of course is an international and class struggle.I'me aware that the pressures and "heat"in at least some parts of Europe are much greater than here.Nevetheless we are not insulated from it in Britain and this is one of many points at which the cracks do more than show.

Can i humbly ask that comrades elsewhere, reading this send us greetings if you wish.It would raise my brothers and sisters morale if i can read out greetings to them at the demnstration. Its also important in linking up our stuggles and making those links as REAL as the"trouble"we are all in.This could be a1st step in making links with struggles abroad.Kilburn and indeed the London Borough of Brent of which it is part is the most nationalky, ethically, racially, linguistically, cuturally diverse community in Britain, but too many people from the UK/Britain still need convincing that working and poor people across the world have more in common with each other than with those who rule over us anywhere.

Messages of support and solidarity can be part of that lesson.I know that we in the campaign will reciprocate. We pride ourselves on our "openness".We have not won yet but we are"rattling" the complacency of a Labour Council leader, making links and making progress.

please contact me in the 1st instance:
